Pa it’s hard knowing you won’t be here anymore.
I’ll never get to hear you call me Sheryl again. You were a great inspiration to all who knew you. You worked hard in this life now you can take your rest and be with your wife.
    You are loved and missed.

Sending prayers of love and comfort to the family. I did not know Mr. Ulysses Tidwell but learned a few days ago that we were 2nd cousins. My grandfather was Noah Broughton of New Edinburg, Arkansas.

  • Desiree Martin says:

It’s hard!! Knowing when ever I’m with Al(Alexandria) I cant come to your house anymore just to see you for no reason at all. I met you at 14 when my mom joined your son in laws church and you and grandma Tidwell were there visiting. From then I’ve always considered you my PaPa too. When ever you were in the hospital she knew to come get me and I had to go see Pa.l to make sure he was okay. I’m really going to miss you. You weren’t my blood but by God you were definitely my Papa too. It’s not going to be the same but I know grandma Tidwell is soooooo happy to finally have you home with her again. Missing you both forever…

  • Daryl Bonner Jr says:

What a man…what a man. Truly one of a kind! There will never be another. Pa had a heart of gold and provided such a great example of how a man should walk, talk, love and behave. You taught me so much my entire life. I remember being that little boy following you around as we cut grass in the city. You gave me my first job as a kid and taught me how to be responsible at such an early age. I can go on and on and on about how great of a man my grandfather was. If I could just be a third of the man you were I would be fine with that. I love you Pa and will see you again.

    Love BJ
